WOW! Our third annual Farm to Fork dinner, August 9th, was AMAZING!
Our very kind sponsors, supporters and guests helped us raise over $15,000 for our neighbors in need! That’s a $5,000 increase over last year!
We dined under the stars at breathtaking Wardbrook Farm, and the tables, lighting, everything was stunning, thanks to Details Event Staging. We’re also grateful to Biddeford Savings Bank for their generous donation.
We had a phenomenal feast, thanks to four talented chefs, who donated hours and hours of their time: Joel Souza from Old Vines; German Luccarelli rom The Lost Fire; Michael Somerset from Spirit of Massachusetts; and Jake Peterson with Crotux restaurant at Garden Street Bowl.
A portion of the fabulous food came from Snell Family Farm, Mousam Valley Mushrooms and Boulangerie. Kennebunkport Brewing Company donated their terrific beers.
A shout out too to Due South Expeditions; one lucky bidder in our silent auction won a five-day/four-night cabana cottage retreat for two on St. John in the Virgin Islands!
There were many other fun auction items and so many volunteers who made this evening extra special. We’re grateful to you all – and look forward to using funds raised to provide food and other essential assistance to our neighbors in need!
