During the last week of September, Kennebunk High School held a food drive to benefit Community Outreach Services. Spearheaded by Peter Lazos and the Peer Helpers group, they collected 214 pounds of food and $2,172.58. They are an outstanding example of how young people can successfully get involved in the community and make a difference. We applaud them for their organizing skills, communication skills, and effort. We have such great young people in this community and we wish them the best during this school year. If you know one of these kids, tell them how thankful you are for their contribution. Keep up the great work students, you give us great hope for the next generation!
