For 35 years, Community Outreach Services (COS) has taken seriously our responsibility to support our neighbors in times of need through our three programs – food, fuel, and essential needs.
Some of our volunteers and donors have been on the receiving end of our help — so we get it. We believe a humble, caring culture is essential to effectively serving our neighbors. This commitment extends across our leadership, staff, and volunteers. At COS, we foster an environment where everyone is treated with empathy, respect, and compassion, while honoring the dignity and privacy of every neighbor we serve.

About COS
Community Outreach Services is an organization of neighbors helping neighbors in Arundel, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport who face challenges with food, fuel, and essential needs. What makes COS unique is our market-style pantry which allows impacted neighbors to select the foods that best meet their needs and preferences.
We also work to prevent food insecurity using innovative programs. Through food rescue efforts, thoughtful food management, and long-range planning, we strive not only to serve our community but also to aid neighboring communities when they need additional assistance, fully embodying the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors.
