Picture this . . . You’re walking along your favorite beach and you come upon a beautiful piece of driftwood just resting in the sand.
It’s a great find! You think about how it could be made into something if only you had a few more pieces to add to it. And then, there’s that thought of how you wish you were a bit more creative or had more time to work on it.
Well, here’s what you can do.
The Knights of Columbus is holding a silent auction of 120 articles of driftwood handcrafted in Kennebunk. The wood was gathered over the years from Gooch’s Beach. Each item is a “Palo Original,” labeled and signed by the craftsman.
Come to the Auction and choose your favorite “treasure” and make it your own. You will also be helping our neighbors in need of food. All proceeds will be donated to the Community Outreach Services (COS) Food Pantry which aids families residing in Arundel, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport throughout the year.
